Doctor Mayer is an Allergist located in west

Eilene
Eilene is currently working M & W in our office. She has over 12 years
experience as a Medical Assistant & Receptionist, 7 of those in the allergy
& asthma field. She has also previously worked in the family practice,
internal medicine field as well as gastroenterolology.
She schedules appointments, verifies insurances,
posts payments, checks patients in/out as well as performing allergy tests
and administering vaccines.
As well as being an MA here at AAI of SE MI,
Eilene is a mother of three. Her children are 20, 14 & 12. She also manages
her son's soccer team, as well as supporting all of her children in travel
hockey, football, Cheerleading and basketball.
She is very talented at multi-tasking. If at
anytime you have a question or concern, please feel free to call her at our
office.
Carol
Carol�s interest and experience
is educating families with food allergies, minimizing the social isolation
often experienced by food allergic individuals. Previous to joining AAI,
Carol worked in the field of clinical neurophysiology and neurosurgical
monitoring for over 2 decades.
Carol is married and the mother
of 2 asthmatic children, one with latex and multiple food allergies. Enjoys
cooking and has experience in adapting recipes to meet the needs of food
allergic children.
When not working at the Allergy &
Asthma Institute, Carol serves on the Board of Directors as the Vice
President for Legislative Affairs for Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America
� Michigan Chapter (AAFA-MI). She also volunteers as an Outreach Service
Coordinator (OSC) for the Allergy & Asthma Network � Mothers of Asthmatics (AANMA).
Carol�s accomplishments include passage of 2 Michigan laws protecting our
children�s rights to self-carry & self-administer their lifesaving asthma &
anaphylaxis medications at Michigan schools and camps.
Amy
Amy is a medical assistant with 6 years of experience in asthma & allergies
in New York prior to joining AAI. She has completed a program in medical
coding & billing.
She is a married mother of 3 children, 1 with
asthma. When she is not at AAI, Amy enjoys spending time with her family,
reading, cooking & gardening.
